4-6 Weeks Before Move

Check providers at new address
Call us with your new address and we'll check every authorized service network in under 2 minutes - fiber, cable, and 5G options. Compare plans and pricing
Don't just go with your current provider. Rates vary significantly by address - a new address often opens up better options. Schedule installation early
Fiber installation requires a technician visit. Slots book up fast - especially on Fridays and Saturdays around month-end.

2 Weeks Before Move

Confirm your installation date
Call your new provider to confirm the install. Ask for a morning window if possible. Cancel or transfer your current service
Most providers require 30 days notice to cancel. Ask about transfer options if moving within the same coverage area. Ask about equipment
Confirm whether a modem/router is included or if you need to buy or rent one.

Move-In Day

Be present for the technician
Someone over 18 must be home for installation. Have your ID ready. Test All Rooms
Before the tech leaves, test WiFi in multiple rooms and ask for optimal router placement. Get your account info
Write down your account number, login credentials, and the tech's contact for follow-up questions.
